Picoplatin
"pico" is a prefix denoting a factor of 10^-12 in the International
System of Units. So a picometer is a one quadrillionth of a meter, or
a millionth of a micron. Or a thousandth of a nanometer.
"nano" became a buzzword - or at least buzz prefix. Will pico
be the next nano?
Platin could be derived from the Spanish word for silver, plata. Colloidal
silver is a "quack" remedy for acne and a bunch of other maladies.
